I started The Sweet Life because, well let's face it, sometimes life actually isn't so sweet, and we all need reminders—and action steps—to help us get back to those sweeter times. Sometimes refocusing on the sweetness occurs when our circumstances change; and sometimes it happens when nothing changes except for what we are focusing on.

I am a mama of a blended family. I have tirelessly struggled with mom guilt. I have carried baby weight for way longer than I wanted to. I have pushed myself to crazy limits and found out what sometimes works and what sometimes fails.

Wife and mother, Chief operator of the Mathews Homestead, homeschooler, not-so-novice gardener, resident goat herder, and your new Jesus-loving friend.

I'm Jaime mathews

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

And friends, I'm here to share it all with you. I'm here to give you any and all of the life lessons that I have learned so that you can operate in your sweetest life possible.

My background in journalism and Masters in holistic health and nutrition may come when reading nutrition labels or ordering high quality protein powders, but it's my years of stories, research and lessons learned that I think you'll find most helpful.
